Show: $10 Showtimes: 6:00 - 7:30 (Doors Open 5:30) 8:15 - 9:45 (Doors Open 7:45) Kirkatron was founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1997 as a means to celebrate, honor, and enjoy the music of Rahsaan Roland Kirk. Led by Jon Eshelman, the band performs music that was composed and/or recorded by Kirk, who was also a Columbus native. Kirkatron uses three saxophonists to perform the arrangements that Rahsaan was able to perform all on his own with his unique ability to play three saxophones at once. While no one can recreate or approach Rahsaan’s amazing musicianship, it is Kirkatron’s mission to make sure his music continues to be played and appreciated in his hometown.
